His birth is not found in Maldegem indexes or records. He was probably born in Adegem.¹⁴^,¹⁵

The following children appeared in the household: Pieter (age 17), Marie (age 15), Isabelle (age 10), Angeline (age 6). Also listed was Francois Vanhyfte who was a "peerdeknecht" or "horse-servant."

He should be 2 and a half years old, but does death record show age as 1 year and 3 days?³²

Anna Catherina ³³^,³³^,¹⁷^,³³ was born on 5 Sep 1735.²⁶^,³³^,¹⁷ She was baptized on 6 Sep 1735 at Maldegem, BEL, her godparents were Judocus DeLaere and Joanna DeLaere; .¹⁷^,²⁹ She died on 24 Dec 1739 at Maldegem, BEL, at age 4 Her death record may list her name as Joanna Catherina, not Anna Catherina.²⁸

As of 1755, she was also known as Anna Marie.³⁸
